for Pre-K. Learn the essentials of music with Miss Deb! Experience rhythm, melody and movement at Caffe Lena with the Capital Region's favorite musical mentor and teacher, Deb Cavanaugh. Experience this interactive and fun exploration of music with Miss Deb!
We will sing songs, move around, play with colorful props and play percussion instruments while enjoying and learning about music in an organic learning environment. Songs from other cultures will be included along with traditional folk songs.
Fun for the whole family!
Starting Saturday June 29th, 2024, Miss Deb and Dandelion Wine will be playing a monthly Family Concert at Mojo's Cafe in Troy, NY.

In March of 2020, Miss Deb started creating videos for kids who were out of school due to the pandemic. She found it to be so much fun, she's continuing the series. Every one of them has a theme with a character who visits. You can also learn to make string figures, do origami, do some simple cooking, make crafts and more. Winter is the perfect time to be indoors singing and playing together. Join Miss Deb for a fun season of songs and crafts. This interactive online six-week session starts after Thanksgiving and runs into January. You can learn new songs and make winter-themed crafts enjoying family time during the darkening days.
With this series, you'll get one video per week that you can watch whenever and as often as you would like. You will also get access to printable song sheets so that you can continue to sing these fun songs on your own. Each week there will be a new craft with a list of simple supplies, much of which you may already have at home. Make a snow globe, a penguin on a wintery background, a snow covered tree and more. Your child can learn a song about a melting snowman then make one from paper.
You can register by emailing Deb at [email protected] with your name, your child's name or names if more than one will be participating, their ages and your email address. Remember, this six-week session is only $100 for your whole family.
